Giving Back Campaign

Our niece and nephew have cystic fibrosis.  Breathing machines, shaky vest to break up mucus, feeding tubes and tons of meds are just things they must do to live a healthier life. Cystic Fibrosis doesn't define who they are or slow them down much, they are the happiest, most grateful Kids. Make A Wish Foundation granted their wish and off we went to Disney.  I have two moments that forever changed me during this trip. 1} Kerrigan (5) making her star with a Disney Fairy & our return that evening for the sweetest ceremony and unveiling of her star. The lights dimmed and the stars sparkled as far as the eye could see on the ceiling and down the walls made by children from all over the world with terminal illness.  Some are in Heaven now.  I wept!  Completely humbled.  2) My sister Lexi is not the Mom of these little ones.  Her sister is but she has had them in her care for three years. they are thriving now, she never complains, she gave up her career, her life to save them. to love them, to nurse them.  As I watched her doing all the medical things, then baths and feedings etc. after a whole day at Disney, I was ready to pass out.  She was still busy after they went to bed getting things ready for the next day of adventures. She had them costumes and hair bows and meds sorted.  I fell asleep crying Thankful and feeling guilty I'm so far away from her but thankful I could help with this treasure of a dream trip for these kids.  The ones that never complain are the exhausted, just because they might appear to carry it well, doesn't mean it's not heavy.  

I've always thought of myself as giving.  Well...there are lots of nice guys and gals like me then there are HEROES like Lexi and so many others.  I vowed when I opened this company that I would be a real giver and make a difference in the communities we serve.  

Tell me all about the Lexi's of this area.  The people that could use a helping hand. but never ask for one.  Tell me about the kids like these little ones, tell me about a single Dad or Mom that have their hands full and could use a little help on the home front.  Share an elderly couple or Granny that just isn't able to get that house cleaned up.  Tell me about some foster families, just share those stories folks!  

I truly want to make a difference, and get others involved in helping too!   I've got some exciting plans for Christmas.  Let's get everyone on the list!!!
